Arch of Constantine

Rome, Italy

The Arch was constructed in 315 AD by the Roman senate; 3 years after the Battle of Milvian Bridge in which Constantine defeated emperor Maxentius.
This Arch is the largest Roman triumphal arch still standing. It stands 69 ft high and just short of 85 ft wide.
I took this view from the Colosseum.

1700 years ago objects such as this were being created...that's an eye opener.

Excellent view of this iconic landmark. I like that you have included more of the background than most to show what a beautiful setting it resides in. ~BV~
