Sidi Bou Said is often regarded as Tunisia's most picturesque village, and the "Beverly Hills" of Tunisia where the wealthy live. At a glance, these white cubic houses on the hill look deceivingly like a European Mediterranean urban landscape, except that on closer look, the minaret hints that this is perhaps not Europe after all.
