Nordhoff St. ends here at the old Chatsworth Reservoir. The water was
drained in 1971 after the Earthquake... I walked over here to watch the
helicopters get water to drop on the fire..

The fire remains only 5% contained.. Many areas are being evacuated
as I write this, a day later.. At least 17,000 acres are engulfed..
The battle continues..and I have just a few thoughts about the
Firefighters... They are Amazing, Wonderful and Brave... It is over
a 100 outside..and they wear such heavy turnout gear..

The Firefighters are fighting without quit.. I think they are terrific...
