About 3 miles from Po'ipu Beach Park on Lawa'i Road
is the Spouting Horn Beach Park. A lava shelf extends
out from the shore, and waves crash under it, causing
water and air to shoot through a blowhole. One blowhole
next to it does not spout water, but makes a very
unique "whooshing" sound when the waves come in.
