Pride of America Cruise - Hawaii - February 2007

Mary, Karen and I had our first cruise on the Norwegian Cruise Lines
ship Pride of America. We flew to Hawaii a couple days early, got on
the ship in Honolulu and visited the Islands of Hawaii, Maui, Kauai, and
back to Oahu. Here are some pictures of our adventures there.

Thank you so much for posting these pictures! My husband and I are close to booking our Hawaiian cruise which also happens to be our first cruise ever and this is just what I was hoping to see!

Thanks for the comment Karen... As best as I can remember there are some cargo/container ships at just about every port. (No port at Kona...have to tender into the dock from the ship.) I remember sitting on our balcony in Kauai and watching the tugs move a big barge into position by the dock. Even in Honolulu there are cargo ships docked close by the passenger terminal. The port in Maui is in an industrial area. I forget where the port is in Hilo.

Thanks for the compliment about the pictures, Karen. I also had heard some negative things about cruising with NCL, but we had a wonderful time. I rate this as one of our two best cruises...(other one being the Alaska cruise)... We would love to go again if we get the chance.

These pictures are awesome. I would like to take this cruise, but of course have heard a lot of negativity about it. Now more than ever I would like to take this cruise. thank you for these pictures.
