This was one of the first waterfalls (and one of the
biggest) we saw on the road to Hana. It is just past
the 10-mile marker. This has to be one of the most
scenic roads in the world. It is a very curvy road,
snaking between the steep slopes of the Haleakala
volcano and the ocean. The "road to Hana" portion is
some 26 miles long, but it dosen't begin until
highway 36 becomes highway 360, some 16 miles east of
Kahului.
