The Brown Girls

I found this picture in Dad's picture collection. It had a date of
September 1963 on the back of the photo. I did not recognize where
the picture was taken, but several in the family said it was taken
from the driveway of Uncle Art' & Aunt Lena Bear's house on Newton
Street in Eldon. Checking the family website calendar, I see that
Uncle Art & Aunt Lena celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on
September 14th. The women are dressed up, so this could have been
a celebration on the Sunday, the day afterward. Or, it could have
been a celebration of Aunt Lena's birthday on September 27th.

I think Aunt Midge made the dress Faye is wearing. Mary has a quilt
with some blocks containing some of that fabric.
