While visiting Yala National Park, I stayed in the nearby town of Tissamaharama at Priyankara Hotel, which is better than Lonely Planet makes it sound, and which I can recommend.
Tissa has some significant Buddhist monuments, which I visited, as well as colourful houses and lush tropical vegetation.
After two days I drove to Galle for another two days, the last of my trip. Unfortunately my camera stopped working so my last photo of Sri Lanka is of the road to Galle.
