Photos of a few days in Chiang Mai in November 2012.
First I stayed at U Chiang Mai Hotel for two nights, then moved to Galare Guest House, a more humble establishment.
When first approaching Talat Warorot I saw a flock of about a dozen cycle rickshaws all heading under the Chinatown arch at the same time - quite a sight! They were too quick for me to take a photo. Each one contained a tourist. The whole thing must have been arranged by their tour leader.
In the evening I returned to the market and found the streets outside lined with food stalls selling both hot snacks and fruit, including big, juicy strawberries.
