I was sitting beside the sister of some of these players. They don't play professionally, but they were having a family reunion, a gathering of about 50-60, and some of them play and sing, so they had been on the courthouse lawn for 3 nights. I stayed the longest with this group because they sound great and were having so much fun, joking and playing pranks on one another. Made me wish I were part of the family.

The name of the group is "Ozark Foothills Bluegrass Gospel". The family name is Beal. The family had a logging and sawmilling business and the name of the business was Ozark Foothills. Their father retired in 1986 and passed away in 1999. He never got to hear them play, as they began playing about 3 years ago. They thought of many names and thought that Ozark Foothills portrayed their lives the best.
