Sunrise at Grasmere!

Im back had an amazing time it was so beautiful it took my breath away, but had a bit of a disaster as on the 1st day my Canon died, of all the 5 years for it to go, it picked the most beautiful area of the country, luckily I had my panny so it sort of saved the day!

This was the last day we had the most amazing sunrise the mist was so low and the lake turned pink, the panny could not get the actual colour but this is quite near!
I stay here for over an hour watching the light and colour change every minute, it was a gorgeous moment.

I just realized the challenge was sunrise so better late than never lol!

Heres the start of my new gallery but ive loads more to upload.Lake district -a by drive by shooting.

I'm sooo glad you had the Panny as a back-up Carole! This is so beautiful. I was only 10 when I last visited the Lakes so a visit is long overdue!

Lovely shot - can't believe the Canon died! Time for a 40D? :-)

Wonderful scene.
There is never a good time for a camera to quit, but five years on a digital is a pretty good run... I say that based on how hard I am on my cameras.
