It was a wonderful Fourth of July! I spent the day at my friend's house. First, we had gone out in the boat which afforded me opportunities to photograph sailboats. Later in the day, the guys were going out to fly their powered parachutes. It was another great opportunity to shoot the whole process. While we were waiting for the guys to land, a local teacher that I once worked with, came with her hot air balloon, so I got to shoot the whole process of launching a hot air balloon. The winds were calm so it was a great day for powered parachutes and hot air balloon. Incidently, she was launching where the guys were going to land very shortly, but there turned out to be enough room on the runway for both vehicles.
