The Schloss Biebrich (Palace), a magnificent three-winged Baroque residence, that was erected
between the years 1700 and 1750 directly on the banks of the Rhine River.
It is the Malacañang Palace (in Manila) equivalent here in Wiesbaden (... at imbes na Pasig River, dito naman sa tabi nang Rhine River!). :-)
It was the abode of the sovereigns and later dukes of Nassau. The rotunda and galleries provide the venue for prestigious functions
held by the Minister President of the State of Hessen. The palace also accommodates the Hessian authority for the preservation of historic monuments.
