Recently I had the priviledge to visit the Our Lady/Mother of Life Institute in Angat, Bulacan province, the Philippines.
This secular community had its origins in Venasque, southern France when it was originally founded by Fr. Marie-Eugène of the Child Jesus, OCD
and a laywoman named Marie Pila in 1932. A place of contemplation for consecrated members consisting of laypersons, nuns and diocesan priests
to help them "strive to bear witness to the Living God while fulfilling the duties of their professions and ministries", just being there seems to
make one feel like being in a little piece of heaven on earth! :-)
