214 Astronaut A M9

The Astronaut was introduced to commorate our space program and was the "official" time piece for our astronauts during the 1960's. The watch has a fourth, 24 hour hand, and a rotating outer bezel which permits keeping time in two time zones. The black dial and luminous markings are especially useful in low light and dark situations. This stainless steel example is date code M9, which means it was made in 1969, the year man first stepped foot on the moon.
