This is the Blackmud Creek Erosion Protection Site.

The cost of installing the wooden retaining wall, which can be seen on the left, is $850,000 Cdn.

My guess is that this design is inadequate and is doomed to failure.

Sad to hear it's probably doomed to fail, not only because of the cost but more importantly, its inability to stop the erosion.

Interesting documentary shot. This looks like a waste of money. Why even try to prevent erosion here?
