The area I live in is called Twin Brooks. That is because there are two creeks, one on either side of the sub-division. The previous image is of Blackmud Creek and here is the other, Whitemud Creek.

Both creeks are subject to erosion and one day, they will meet in the middle.

You can slow it down, but in the end nature will win.
