Taking a break while on a bike ride through the National Arboretum. These old columns stood on the East Portico of the U.S. Capitol from 1828 to 1958.

Reminds me of the set of Apocalypse Now - and who knows, with the acceleration of the decentralization of nuclear weapons, and the influx of humanity to the industrialized centers, if this is not going to become a familiar sight in our cities? We must enjoy life while we can ...
