A scene from the play, "The Voice of the Flood." This play was set in early 20th century San Diego and traced the development and failure of a commune during a long drought. It was put on by a contemporary religious communal group--The Twelve Tribes of Israel.
There is a newspaper on the counter, but the Times theme is over for now. More photos from the play can be seen at the top of my Miscellaneous Gallery.
What an excellent set of theatrical images, the exposure, the expressions captured and the composition... I'm really impressed!
p.s. We'll let you off the hook about the NYT, IF we can see the ticket stub for this play, clearly showing the date ; )
