14th July

I'm in the process of trying to sell a collection of old british banknotes I own from when I used to work in a bank. Old ladies would come in with very old banknotes they had stuffed under a matress for years and I'd change them up and then pay the bank face value for them. These are some old £1 notes of which I have 122 all in uncirculated condition. Sepia toning applied.

other sizes: small medium original auto

LOL! Not only elderly ladies would come in with them; sometimes sons and daughters too? I bear witness to that paying in a certain elderly relative's mattress contents made up of such notes....

Very clear and sharp. Good luck with your sale? Should be a bit of a profit?

Nice crisp image. The portrait seems to float over the surface of the note.
