Appearing up to 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than an average full moon was a once-in-a-lifetime event for many. The moon was at the closest to Earth it has been since 1948. At its closest point the moon will be only 221,524 miles from Earth, according to NASA.
The next Super Moon this close to the Earth will not be until 2034.

A November full moon is also known as a "Beaver Moon"
The photos in this gallery were taken on
the evening of November 13th when the moon was 99.7 full,
dawn November 14th when the moon was 100% full,
and the night of November 14th.
The Variations in Moon Color seem to reflect the moon's distance from the horizon and atmospheric conditions.
The Higher the Moon Rose, the more it went from Red to Gold to Pale Gold to Off White to White. And visa versa.
