I only shot the one frame.
Smoke from Canada (which I didn't consider at the time) and the leafy redbud made looking into the sun possible. However, after I took this photo, I kind of wondered about shooting this, since the sun was still pretty high in the sky. I was photographing something else when I noticed the red fireball.

Later, on the late-night local news, the weather man said that this was a rare opportunity.
