Gold Flakes in the Quartz 11-30-24

Our New Countertop

"Inverness Gold by Cambria is a stunning quartz countertop design. It features molten gold veins that fracture a cool white canvas with vibrant intensity. The debossed veins create a wonderfully organic design with a gently textured appeal. This quartz surface is nonabsorbent, stain-resistant, durable, and easy to clean."

I chose the matte finish.

"Cambria offers their Inverness Gold quartz countertop in a matte finish (sometimes referred to as "honed" or "silk" finish), which provides a sleek, non-glossy appearance. This finish can enhance the natural look of the stone and give your surfaces a sophisticated, modern feel.

Key Benefits of a Matte Finish:
Soft, Elegant Look: The matte finish gives a soft, understated elegance to the surface, which can complement a variety of interior styles.

Non-Reflective: Ideal for areas with lots of natural light, as it reduces glare and reflections.
Touch and Feel: Offers a smooth, velvety texture that's pleasing to the touch.
Cambria Quality: Maintains the same durability, stain resistance, and easy maintenance as their polished finishes."

This is much prettier in real life than in a photo. Seeing it in my own kitchen, I'm happy with my choice. The gold veining is 3 D, giving depth to the design. You can even feel many of the veins when you run your hand over the countertop.

It makes a fine abstract, like sand on the snow.
