Our New Bar Sink is here 10-21-24

I normally don't like green fixtures in the kitchen, but I do like this Heritage color by Kohler. The color "Aspen Green" is a soft, crisp silver-green shade. Although it seems a little dark in my photo taken in the garage, the color absolutely looks nothing like the super ugly "Avocado" that was so popular when I was a kid. This is a light and delicate and very soft toned silvery green. Kind of Nature's version of a mint green, only more muted.

Kohler claims that Aspen Green "reflects the natural hues of mountain pines glistening in the morning sun. It is a versatile color can serve as a colorful accent or a soothing neutral, adding a touch of nature-inspired elegance to your space."

Because of kitchen has so much warm wood in it, this soft green will be just the right pop of color to bring life to the area. We also ordered the kitchen sink at the same time, but that arrived broken.

The Kohler Porto Fino 18-1/2" Undermount Single Basin Cast Iron Bar Sink has the following dimensions:

Length (Left to Right): 18-1/2 inches
Width (Front to Back): 18 inches
Height (Top to Bottom): 8-5/8 inches
Basin Dimensions: 15 inches (L) x 15 inches (W) x 8 inches (D)
Minimum Cabinet Size: 21 inches

This is larger than the old square bar sink being removed but will fit the cabinet. To me, it looks huge, but I did want a little bigger sink in that area which will now be used as a coffee bar.

We're moving along with this kitchen redo.
