It's beautiful. However, the installation was a very dusty process. My poor cabinets. Fortunately, once all the kitchen remodeling work is done, the cherry cabinets can be cleaned up and polished. Then, they'll look a lot nicer against the new kitchen floor. We have too many cabinets for me to do a proper cleanup while our kitchen redo is still in process. The floor also isn't yet 100% complete. New base moldings still need to be installed.

The floor installer did a great job with laying the planks.
It took him almost a 10 hour day, but he got it all done in one day.
Although I still prefer my old floor (that reflected "me"), this floor really goes beautifully with our solid cherry cabinets. I like it. Meanwhile, my husband absolutely loves the new floor. We're now so "on trend" for 2024.

We ended up with extra planks. Although that added to the cost of the job, it is not a terrible thing, just in case any of the planks ever need to be replaced (for whatever reason) in the future. Better to have too many planks than too few... Now, we'll be moving on to hunting for new, replacement countertops. I still have not found something I like. So, that is an open-ended timeline. Fingers crossed that we can get everything done before Thanksgiving.
