Waiting for a New Floor 9-20-24

Dust everywhere, despite my husband constantly using the shop vac while tearing up the old floor.
The cabinet base edge moldings have been removed in preparation to having a new floor laid.
My husband has stained new moldings. They will be put into place once the new flooring is down.

Today's task was fitting new, wider slides to the feet on our kitchen chairs. Because the new slides have felt bottoms (that will attract dirt), the old slides will stay in place until the day that the new flooring goes in.

With any dirt being vacuumed up on the subflooring on a twice a day basis, the dogs again have free run of the kitchen. Therefore, I no longer worry about them getting into something that might harm them. However, I refuse to dust and polishing the cabinets while construction is still going on. That's an effort in futility. Our kitchen is 16x30 feet in size. It has cabinets on all 4 walls, except for where we have doorways. That's too many cabinets to have to polish in a construction zone!!!
