Police Officer Cody Allen, 35, died from injuries sustained in a shooting after police responded to help court officers. Court Officer Drexel Mack, also died in the shooting. Two other police officers were injured; along with the suspect, who opened fire when county court officials came to the house to evict him.

Cody Allen was laid to rest in Odessa Cemetery Friday after receiving law enforcement honors graveside.
