Due to the unusual weather, we won't be seeing normal Fall color in our area... not that the native plants ever put on a much more colorful show than this. Most of the regional Fall color comes from landscaping plants. However, very few of those deciduous plants are changing this year. Instead, they're just dropping their leaves. Drought and repeat, late season heat waves (in the 90's) undoubtedly have contributed to this situation.
Above may not be super dramatic, but it at least shows a slight change of color. All are native plants.
