Just 6 months ago, even one moon’s cycle of living like this would have been totally unimaginable.
In another 9 days, my personal “social isolation” status will be 5 full months. I’m surprised that I still have my sanity. Well, at least as much sanity as I ever had… I think. VBG. It’s amazing how well people can adapt when they absolutely must. The sacrifices we’re making now will hopefully allow us several decades more of quality life - in good health - to enjoy; in a future more normal world.

Today's COVID News from the USA
"The epicenter of the pandemic could be shifting to the Midwest, according to Dr. Deborah Birx, coordinator of the White House Coronavirus Task Force. Birx said she’s watching a rise in cases in Kansas and Missouri." KMBC News "Health officials are also keeping a close eye on the percentage of tests coming back positive. Kansas’ rate now sits at more than 18%."
The United States averaged more than 1,000 new coronavirus-related deaths for the ninth day in a row Tuesday, as fatalities remain high following a peak in new cases.
"Trump on Covid death toll: 'It is what it is' Trump said emphatically. 'But it's under control...'"

I took this photo last night when the full moon was at its peak. In North America, it is often called the full Sturgeon Moon.
According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, "August’s full Moon was traditionally called the Sturgeon Moon because the giant sturgeon of the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain were most readily caught during this part of summer."
The way the COVID-19 situation is going “out there” across the USA, I’m pretty sure this will not be my last full moon photo taken from Stay-at-Home mode. The question is how many more full moons will there be before it’s finally safe to return to a more normal life?
I so long for that time.
In a pre COVID world, I was originally scheduled to end my several week long photo trip to Alaska today. I was also scheduled to fly home tomorrow. However, in the COVID world that we now exist, tomorrow will be just Wednesday at home. Just like today was just Tuesday... at home.
