Right around 0 Degrees F. this morning when I went out to feed the horses at sunrise. With the thick coats the horses have grown this winter, they don't even notice the cold...while my hands were nearly frozen. I was looking for some interesting backlight images - this was the best of several I shots this morning.

I can feel the warmth of the horse and a great desire to hug him. Very special.
Since you took several photos of him I wonder if you focused also on his eye, which could be interesting also.

This is the famous Horse Head 'nebulosity'? ;-) Great shot here. The blond mane and the visible exhale in the morning light is worth a little frost-bite; maybe a finger or two ;-) Well done, considering the light, complete burn out could be just a degree or so in positioning. Excellent! g
