We've been in the midst of a terrible drought this year here in Flagstaff. We should normally have had over three feet of snow by this time, but this year we have yet to receive our first measurable snowfall, let alone any rain. Even the high peaks around town are bare. This morning dawned with the hope of some snow...but alas, received only a dusting. This photo was taken at sunrise, looking west from our house, toward the San Francisco Peaks.
