7:58 AM. The morning was quite still, and afforded opportunities for reflections in the water. I probably tried 10 different compositions here, most at a much wider angle than this shot. Again, the moon was a critical element in this image. When there are no clouds to add interest to a photograph, it is important to bring other elements into play - the moon is one of the best at your disposal. Plan around it when you can. Bracketed exposures were digitally combined to hold dynamic range. 1/20 sec, f/8.
