5:46 PM

5:46 PM. The sun was obscured by some clouds before the light could get very rich at sunset, and I quickly found myself in the rather flat, featureless, dusk light. It was at this moment that I noticed the moon had risen over the eastern horizon...and used it in this composition, taken at the lowest setting to the ground my tripod could achieve - about 10 inches. 1/15 sec, f/16.

Like a set from "The lord of the rings" these monuments with the moon in between loose proportion and turn to be surrealistic. Great composition.
