As the last rays of the sun were rising on the distant hills, and the moon was rising higher in the eastern sky, I came across this composition as I was coming back up from taking the photographs of Thor’s Hammer. I really wanted to shoot at a longer focal length so that the moon wouldn’t be too small in the image – but just couldn’t make the composition work at anything greater than about 30 mm.
