Madisonville Lighthouse

Madisonville Louisiana

Gayle and I followed one of the Louisiana birding loops today, had lots of fun and saw lots of birds. We saw many different kinds of birds including a pair of nesting Eagles on a nest that has been in use for 80 years. The lighthouse survived Katrina and looked really good standing there.

Very nice Breland. I like that you moved far enough to the left to enable a bit of the tower to appear on the left side of the door. Gives it a sense of completion. Love the pastels. Vote.

Neat that they built a lighthouse to help guide the birds into the sanctuary, Breland. :)) There's something special about lighthouses and you've done a fine job of presenting this one.
Best to you,
Dick:)

This is probably the most beautiful shot of this lighthouse I have ever seen.
