The magnificent sequence of rooms consisting of the vestibule, garden hall, staircase and White Hall culminates in the Imperial Hall.
The architect, Balthasar Neumann, highlighted the hall with its twenty almost 9-metre-high half-columns made of reddish stucco marble and the large oval dome as the representative highlight of the Würzburg Residence.
