Pretty much the way it is in Japan. We were looking for a teller machine to get more money and tried 3 that had anything resembling English on the options...finally gave up! As for costs, $4.25 will get you a "tall" cup at Starbuck's! ($1.50 at my local Starbuck's) At McDonalds, $10.25 will buy you a Big Mac combo with coke and fries! 10% VAT in Japan. 12% in the Philippines.
