The mini-tower at the top of the hill in this photo is the highest point to which I hiked on this trip and the spot from which I shot the previous photo. This also gives you a great idea of just how rugged the terrain over which the Great Wall is built really is. It is amazing accomplishment and one of the things I believe we should all see at least once in our lives.
