The Great Wall at Badaling

We drove out to Badaling to hike The Great Wall. Badaling is just a bit less than 50 miles from Beijing and while not the closest the Great Wall gets to the city, it is the most spectacular, or so my local guide told me. Had I not visited the Taj Mahal a week later this would have been the highlight of my trip. It was still spectacular as it was. The photos do not do it justice and I am not sure that any photos really can.
