Temple of Heaven

This is an ancient site inside Beijing where the Emporers of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped heaven. It was built originally in 1420 and is the largest temple dedicated to the worship of heaven in the world. There are not many pics here and they are not the best I have ever done for sure. It was bitterly cold the day I was there (below 0 with a 20mph wind) and it was very crowded as it was the Saturday following Chinese New Year.
