Young Osprey Learning to Land

St Clement's Island SP, St Mary's MD

I found the gold mine for Osprey shots today! St Clement's Island SP
The only problem was the light. The SP shuttle ran services from 12:30 to
4:00 and so the sun was high and it was real difficult to get the sun
behind you for a great shot. But I endured ;o) This fledgling osprey was
struggling to hang on after he made this landing. But he made it.

Ah! Bryan, its fledgeling time. Beautiful shot. Two days ago I too was lucky to get some good shots of a fledgeling doing his take-offs and landings. I'll be posting them shortly. V.
