I spotted these pretty Turk's Caps along the side of the road
as we were driving down from the Rock Creek Lake area.
The kids were wondering what I was doing as I put the car in reverse
and started driving back up the mountain road.

Just beautiful. I'm surprised your kids haven't learned to brace for the screeching brakes, the mad dash across an open field, the "Stay in the car I'll be right back", the "please get Daddy the 70-200 (or equivilent) so I can take a picture of that Blue Heron" ........ They will, they will. V
