Hemingway's House in Key West

Once we got settled in the Angelina Guest House on March 8, 2014, we made the short two-block walk over to the Ernest Hemingway Home on Whitehead Street.

I must say I have never read any of Hemingways books and the only movie I've ever seen either from his books or about him was "Hemingway & Gellhorn" the recent HBO-made movie.
The home and free tour were fantastic and filled with great stories and tales about this robust man.

Our tour guide was great, but you can join on other tours as they are happening constantly and included in your admission.
Photos are permitted everywhere including flash photography. I really enjoyed myself capturing the Key West lifestyle of this famous writer.

The home is beautiful maintained and the grounds are just a lovely tropical paradise.
Cats are everywhere and make the visit even more authentic.
I would highly recommend a visit if you are ever in Key West.
