On February 13, 2014 we decided to do some grocery shopping due to the high winds.
On our way back on to the island, my wife wanted to find these shoppes in Olde Marco that she read about.
Now I've thoroughly ridden my bike all over this island, but never came upon this tiny section of the island.

I really don't know enough about all of this, but Olde Marco is a small section off a street where they redeveloped and created a quaint shopping area.
It made for some great photo opps, while my wife perused the shoppes. There is an old hotel, a couple of larger restaurants and the shoppes.

I found out on a later bike ride a couple of days later, that these shoppes and restaurants are all individually owned.
There is a distinct French/European feel to the layout and redesign.
