Goodland Boat Parade 2014

After my bike ride on February 15, 2014, I met my wife and our friends in Goodland for a one-of-a-kind crazy event, the 18th Annual Mardi Gras Boat Parade.

This is the first year we saw this fun and nutty event. It is a fund-raiser for the local hospice and drew a massive crowd on this beautiful day in Southwest Florida!

Along with the boat parade, all the bars & restaurants featured lots of music, refreshments, food, and most of all fun in the sun! It was just a great day to walk around Goodland and take in the festivities, people watch and relax.
