The building is located on Leuven's Grote Markt (main square) and is known as
one of the most beautiful Gothic town halls in the world. Construction took
30 years and required the efforts of three architects.The facades are
richly decorated with a total of 235 statues depicting saints, biblical scenes,
and historical figures.
