From 1880 to 1944 there were trams in Arnhem. Since 1996 there is a tram line on the site of the
Dutch Open Air Museum. The four-axle Arnhem tram from 1929 has been reconstructed. The Tramweg
Foundation has taken care of the arrival of the equipment needed for operation and the RET tram
motor 530 that would supply parts for the GETA 76 to be built (motors, resistors and switch boxes)0
. This replica, which came into use in 1998, has a track gauge of 1435 mm instead of the 1067 mm of the original motor cars
