Homo sapiens have evolved as risk takers. This is truer
for males who traditionally have been the hunters. Modern
life has developed to be risk adverse and males often
find other outlets. Gambling is a risk taking proposition
as is fighting. I do not support chicken fighting but I
also will not judge others who engage. The people at the
fights were very friendly towards me. I did not however
place any bets.
