Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge - 12/24/2012

Today, this Christmas Eve 2012, the morning was stormy and then clearing with moderate temps. and a lot of moisture in the air. WNR now has some 9,000 Sandhill Cranes, 11 Whooping Cranes, numerous thousands of ducks and geese, and plenty of other animals. With the sun breaking out at noon the visitors commenced arriving to enjoy the views from the Observation building at the Visitors Center.

CHISTMAS EVE GIFT to all and to all a peaceful and bless good night.
