Today's photographs are mainly of a single female Whooping Crane whoo has now taken up residency with a group of Sandhill Cranes for what appears the Winter. Unless she finds the other "whooper" on the Refuge, she just may become a visual fixture infront of the Visitor's Observation Building for a while. According to her color coding she is about 2 years old and most likely from the Great Lakes area.
